We hire people who can hold both conversations
Kyodo is a small company doing complicated work in two countries. That makes the people we hire matter more than an organisation chart: most of what we do depends on someone being able to hold a technical conversation in one language and a commercial one in another, and to stay with a relationship long after the introduction.

The kinds of background that fit
Commercial & business development
Japanese–English or Japanese–Hindi capability, and the patience for relationship-led business rather than transactional selling.
Pharmaceutical & regulatory
API, dosage or regulatory affairs experience, particularly anyone who has worked to Japanese submission requirements.
Engineering & field service
Installation, commissioning and maintenance for our industrial machinery customers across India.
Internships
We also welcome internship enquiries. We take interns in both Japan and India, and the shape of a placement depends on what you want to learn and what we have running at the time, so tell us what interests you rather than asking whether there is a position.
